Avoiding conflict can harm your relationships, and I get it, it's tempting to bottle up frustrations for the sake of peace.

But here's the deal: bottling things up doesn't do you any favors. Trust me, I've been there.

Her favorite pastimes include whipping up a yummy cheese souffle, hanging with friends, riding her horses or playing the piano. She lives with her husband and two girls in Edmonton, Alberta, but has big dreams of moving to the country.
